ABOUT THE COLLECTION

The Herbarium Specimens collection celebrates the beauty and individuality of a single flower type.

Part specimen and part portrait, each piece invites us to spend a little more one-on-one time with a plant. Removed from the garden and presented on its own, a flower becomes easier to study, appreciate, and truly see.

Each specimen is pressed and reproduced true to scale, preserving the details, proportions, and character of the original plant. The collection includes both familiar garden favourites and wild and weedy treasures that often go unnoticed.

These pieces are an extension of my practice of attention.
