WELCOME TO THE HERBARIUM
If you’re drawn to flowers, seasons, and small enduring beauty, you’re in the right place.
The Herbarium is where I offer my pressed flower compositions as fine art giclée prints and, once a year, as calendars. Each piece is made slowly and with care—rooted in a relationship to the natural world and shaped by the rhythm of the seasons.
This is not just a shop. It’s a place to pause, to breathe, and to bring a little of the outside in.
A glimpse inside
The Herbarium is a growing collection of pressed flower art made from real flora—gathered or grown, mostly just outside my studio door.
Each piece begins with a walk in the garden, a moment of quiet noticing. I press the flora using a method I’ve refined over time, then arrange layered compositions that reflect each plant’s unique shape, colour, and presence. The result is a kind of botanical portrait—rooted in seasonality, care, and creative devotion.
The word herbarium traditionally refers to a collection of preserved plant specimens. This is a more poetic version—an invitation to pause, to notice, to bring the outside in.
My compositions are professionally scanned and reproduced as archival-quality giclée prints. Once a year, I also release a small run of calendars featuring selected pieces.
